No. Neither Check In, nor Twilio, are HIPAA Compliant - However, no personal health information is set, tracked or stored within either service. Visitors First Name is optional and is only sent to the person they are checking in to meet, or the office admin. The optional check-in questions do not contain any protected health information. Additionally, we can not sign a BAA for text-messaging services.

Yes, but Check In is only available to US customers at the moment.

Essentially none... The Check In system is a pass-thru. Basic server log data is automatically captured (time, date, IP information of the message sent and the content of the message, which are saved to temporary log files and archived automatically by the system each month), as well as error information used to make the system more reliable and correct issues before your guests notice a problem. No user identifiable information is currently logged or analyzed.
